Venezuela Metal Fest 4th edition

The first edition of Venezuela Metal Fest was a live concert at held at The Other Place venue of Buenos Aires, after the pandemic situation it transformed its format into streaming, celebrating Venezuelan Metal music with the first two streaming sessions, now comes the fourth installment of the VMF. This is an event that brings together Venezuelan musicians and bands in our country and beyond our borders, presenting each show incredible acts that are only available online. Bringing together the best of the Venezuelan metal scene from around the world. Promoting the Venezuelan music talent in the different genres of Rock and Metal. This is a space for legendary iconic bands, but also for those who have been longing for a place to make history. We also present a plausible place for the new emerging groups, for free and in a single stage. We want all to be united by a unique flag "Venezuelan metal will be felt throughout the planet ..! "

In this edition the hosts will be Venezuelan musicians with great experience who will be presenting each band. We will also have interviews or Lives via our Instagram account (@vzlametalfest_produccion) prior to the date of the show.

From VMF Argentina we would like to thank all the bands that sent their material for their willingness to join, surely in future editions they will be part of one of our posters. For this edition 6 bands were selected. In order to allow us a better dissemination and promotion of each of them , covering as many genres as possible.

The order of the show will be as follows:

Southaven: DOOM METAL band formed in 2013 with Venezuelan musicians based in Ecuador and Venezuela. So far, they have edited an LP Belcefuzz, and various singles and experimental tracks available in their bandacamp account.

Infestus: GOTHIC METAL band formed in 1997.In their discography they hold and Ep from 2004 Infestus, Dresses of Darkness, an EP in 2017 signed by the Italian label CLUB INFERNO ENT edited in digital platforms.

Defragment: BRUTAL DEATH METAL band, formed in 2016 with Venezuelan musicians based in Chile. In 2016 released Ecorruption (EP) and in 2021 they arrived with their album Outbreak, which allowed them to be signed by the North American label Inframundo.

Sistema Diez: METAL HxC Based in Buenos Aires. Formed in Maracaibo, Venezuela in 2007. SD holds two studio albums, Solo Quiero Que Vivas in 2013, Todos Sospechosos in 2016 and recently launched Sistemas Diez in Pájaro Negro, Villa Martelli .

Mattey: METAL INDUSTRIAL. Matey is currently homed in the United States, known in Venezuela in the 90's by rcok projects such as Holy Pigs and Makina Animal. In 2007 Mattey participated in the Emergenza International Festival and Battle For The Ozzfest. In 2008 Mattey opened for the bands Kittie, Doppe and the Mark Riggs Project, from former Rob Zombie guitarist. In 2010 Mattey played keyboards as a guest musician of the original guitarist of Marilyn Manson. In 2011, releases the album "Scars, Slashes And Bruises" by the American label Ramhaus. In 2013 Mattey was signed as a soloist by the UAA record label in Los Angeles - California, in 2021 he released his album Freakshow "

Electrocirkus: HARD ROCK. A band formed in 2005 in Caracas Venezuela. They have two Great Hits albums from 2008 and Rock On from 2012. Electrocirkus songs have been part of national and international compilations. Electrocirkus was the Venezuelan opening act for bands like Kiss, Guns and Roses, Lou Graam de Foreigner and Slash.
